- MPH Program Director Wins Prestigious CDC Award
A study, with David M. Buchner, MD, MPH as co-author, won the Center for Disease
Control and Prevention's Charles C. Shepard award in the category of Prevention and Control.
The scientific study was: "Cost Effectiveness of Community-Based Physical Activity Interventions"
published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine (2008;35:578-588).
